Most of my work consisted of developing web scrapers in Python to get data as well as help improve a search function with one of our partners, the City of Cambridge.

Experience

Meta — Menlo Park, CA

Software Engineer March 2024 - Present

I'm currently on an ads infrastructure team where I primarily develop in C++. I've worked on projects spanning testing reliability improvements to helping capture data loss flowing into the system. It's been by far, the most technically challenging work, but quite rewarding as a result.

Atlassian — San Francisco, CA

I worked on a team that advanced FedRAMP within Atlassian. Here, I helped develop a compliance assurance service that analyzed the different microservices within the company and gave their compliance postures. Developed with Java.

Microsoft — Redmond, WA

Software Engineer Intern May 2022 - Aug. 2022

I worked on Microsoft's Project for the Web team designing and implementing a feature that recommends others to the current user, similar to what one sees in social media when they search for people and are given suggestions. I used C# and Typescript.

Explorer Intern May 2021 - Aug. 2021

As an explorer intern on Microsoft's Planner team, I worked as a product manager intern for 6 weeks using metrics and user pain-points to design a proof of concept feature. For the next 6 weeks, I worked as a software engineer intern implementing the proof of concept internal feature.

Stanford University — Palo Alto, CA

Research Intern June 2018 - Aug. 2018

During this summer at Stanford, I interned at the Fuller Research Group where I researched spontaneous emulsification and Cycloclasticus pugetii tolerance to toluene. My work included growing bacteria cultures and analyzing the effects of toluene on this strain of bacteria.
